SHIPPING YOUR FIREARM TO BRASS CITY ARMORY
Once you have received an offical "on paper" quote from Brass City Armory, to your email address for your project, print the quote and place it into a proper shipping box with your firearm. If you have not asked for a quote yet, please head over to our services page and submit a quote for your custom project located at the bottem of the page.
All firearms will ship back to the customer as they were received. If a firearm is shipped to Brass City Armory (BCA) in peices, it will be shipped back in peices. If a firearm was shipped to BCA assembled, it will be returned assembled. Only ship the parts that you are getting customized. Please make sure firearms are clean and free of excess dirt and oil to avoid a fee.
Please make sure your firearms are empty DO NOT SHIP ANY FIREARMS WITH AMMUNITION IN THE BOX UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES
SHIPPING OPTIONS
It is legal for unlicnesed individuals to ship firearms through the mail ONLY IF ITS BEING SHIPPED TO A LICENSED FFL DEALER LIKE BRASS CITY ARMORY DO NOT SHIP FIREARMS TO UNLICENSED INDIVIDUALS. A licensed dealer may then direct ship the firearm back to the unlicensed customer legally.
UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE (USPS)
This is typically the best and cheapest option
A customer is legally allowed to ship LONG GUNS ONLY though USPS. Customer CANNOT ship HANDGUNS through USPS it is Illegal. For handguns, FFL dealers can ship handguns via USPS to other FFL dealers. Check with your local FFL dealer for their outbound shipping rates if you want to ship a handgun. This is usually the cheapest option when shipping handguns via Priorty mail through USPS.
FEDEX and UPS
Both Fedex and UPS allow individuals to ship handguns and long guns HOWEVER, its usually next day air only and the rates are expensive. Check with your local Fedex or UPS shipping HUB not the store as some stores are franchised owned and are not aware of their own firearms shipping policy. It is best to check ahead with Fedex and UPS as their firearms rules and regulations may change without notice.
